It all starts with an application form: 2013 Parade Application and the next thing you know you and your group will be center stage and strutting your summertime stuff! The parade is open to businesses, clubs, teams and organizations who want to celebrate Summertime in Stanwood!

The 2013 parade, one of the pivotal events in the community calendar, will be held in August, starting out as usual by the train station, and winding its way through the town of Stanwood to Josephine Sunset Home.

Show your support by joining us to line the route along 271st Street NW in Stanwood, or better yet get together and enter your own team, organization or business in the Parade. Help us to celebrate and recognize your contribution to the community!The fun will begin at 11:00 am.

Deadline for entry into the parade is July 15, 2013.

All the Fun of the Parade: And the Winners Are …

Saturday, August 4^th, 2012: The sun was shining and right on 11:00am six aircraft from the Blackjacks kicked off this year’s Stanwood Camano Rotary Parade with a flyover, flying from the East side of Stanwood straight down 271^st Street.

The Stanwood Camano Rotary Club organizes the summer parade each year, and each year we are amazed to see how popular it continues to be. The parade would not be the same without you all. The Club would like to say thank you to everyone who took part in the parade (there were over 80 entries so there were a lot of you) and the many of you who turned out to line the route and cheer the entries on.
